We have finally received word from Able2Buy following their recent take over, that their services should resume from 22nd October, when all their new contractual agreements with the banks and lenders shall be in place. We hope this interuption in their service has not caused any inconvenience and we would ask that if you are still interested in buying a scooter on finance that you look the system on our site from Monday 22nd October.

Competition entry rules

These rules are for the Win a FREE 50cc Scooter Competition!

1. All entrants to the competition must be aged 16 years or over and residents of the UK.

2. Employees of GETaGRIP Limited or members of their immediate family, including any live-in partner, are ineligible to enter the Competition. Entries must not be made through agents or third parties, or any automated SMS submission service. Any such entries will be deemed void at the sole discretion of GetaGrip Limited.

3. Entry to the Competition is by premium rate SMS Text message only to 87121.

4. Entrants must give their full name and address details if they win the competition to comply with registration and tax requirements of the DVLA on the new registered keeper of the scooter, and for the records of GETaGRIP Limited. There is no obligation for the winner to register and tax the scooter as part of the prize and in such cases no refund or credit shall be given for this part of the prize.

5. Entrants may enter as many times as they wish (but may not use any automated SMS sending system - we want our competitions to be fair!)

6. If your message is greater than the 3000th correct entry, it will be automatically entered into a new competition in which the 3000th correct entry id the winner.

7. The 3000th correct entry from all eligible entries will win the Prize.

8. The prize will be delivered to the winner as soon as possible after the 3000th correct entry is received, following contact between GETaGRIP Limited and the winner to arrange for the prize to be registered, if required, and despatched.

9. The prize will be limited to supply of the scooter prize, including registration, road tax and delivery to the winner. Any other costs such as insurance for the scooter, ongoing servicing etc, shall be the responsibility of the winner.

10. GETaGRIP Limited is entitled to change the prize without prior notice, should the model detailed be unavailable. In this case a similar prize shall be given with the same or higher value.

11. In the event that the Winner does not, or is unable to comply with, and meet these terms and conditions, GETaGRIP Limited shall be entitled at its discretion to disqualify the winner, without any further liability to the Winner. In the event of disqualification GETaGRIP Limited shall be entitled to draw another winner at random from all correct entries.

12. Texts cost £1.50 per entry plus your standard network charge. GETaGRIP Limited is not responsible for network or communication failures of any kind or for entries that are incomplete or incomprehensible. Please seek the bill payer’s permission before entering.

13. GETaGRIP Limited reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and check their identity.

14. Entries that are incorrect, incomplete or illegible will be void. No refund will be made or the cost of any entry. GETaGRIP Limited may refuse to give the prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of an Entrant’s fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these rules.

15. In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the operation of any part of the Competition or the operation of the SMS system, the decision of the GETaGRIP Limited shall be final. GETaGRIP Limited can make no guarantee of SMS access to the Competition.

16. No cash alternative will be offered.

17. The winner agrees to publicity on the GetaGrip and / or ScooterSpot web sites.

18. These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all entries.

2. Buy Now Pay in 6 months INTEREST FREE, or repay monthly after the interest free period on our interest bearing scheme.

Eligibility Requirements.
To apply for credit, Able2Buy need to ask you just three simple questions:

1. Name
2. Address
3. Date of Birth

For your application to be accepted, you must be either of the following:
- in full time employment (i,e. 16 hours, or more, per week)
- self-employed
- retired and over 50 years of age
- in receipt of an invalidity or disability allowance
- Be at least 18 years of age and under 85 years of age.
- Have been a UK resident for 12 months or more.
- Be able to make repayments by direct debit.
- Provide your previous address if you have lived at your current address for less than 3 years.
